Averaging 5.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists last year, sophomore Kenny Quinn lead the Huskies to a 21-3 season and helped them make it to the state tournament. Quinn is hoping for an even brighter season this year. He is trying to become like his role model Chris Paul in becoming one of the greatest point guards to play the game of basketball.

“His pick and roll game is too good and hard to stop,” said Quinn. He will have his own chance with teammate senior forward Douglas Wilson this season. Quinn will have a bigger role this season “I just need to score more and keep the energy up all year,” Quinn said.

Playing basketball since the age of 3 years old, this 5’9-point guard will prepare the team and himself for the state tournament and a chance for the championship.

“This is the year to win it,” Quinn said.

Coming short two years and a row and just trying to make a difference. Playing along side his older brother last season (Y’vez Quinn) Quinn will fill his leader role so the team and himself can make to wells this season and many more.

Grades and injuries are a major problem this season. Players need to pass their classes before than can play. “It all starts in the class room than the hardwood,” Quinn said.
